Once the parents decided to enjoy retirement, Randy and his wife, Kirby, took over the operation. Their son Keylan became involved in the company more recently, has taken on the management duties and is carrying on the family business. The current equipment list includes quad- and tri-axle cattle liners, and several push-axle tractors. The tractor service is provided by a team of owner-operators with extensive livestock handling and driving experience.
Based out of Rocky View County, AB, and Lake Country, BC, the business has expanded in recent years to include reefer and tractor service. The tractor service covers from small to major centers in B.C., Alberta and Saskatchewan.
They look forward to continuing their primary business of serving the livestock industry in the years to come.
Meston Livestock Transport Ltd. has been in the business of hauling livestock since 1982, serving the ranch and farm industry in Western Canada and the United States.
Gordon and Fran Meston, along with their two sons, Randy and Scott, built the business with strong beliefs in the importance of providing quality service. Their trucks and trailers travel from farms, ranches, auction markets and feedlots to pastures and packing plants throughout Western Canada and the USA.
