Company drivers required for hauling livestock and some reefer work, based near Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The main focus of Meston Livestock Transport Ltd. is hauling cattle, but during slower times and between loads we take on a variety of freight loads. You must be willing and able to adapt to working weekends with ever-changing schedules and routes. We service Western Canada and the Northwestern United States. As we haul throughout British Columbia, mountain driving experience is important.
Driver Requirements
• Valid Class 1 commercial driver’s license
• Clean driver’s abstract
• Minimum 3 years driving experience
• Cattle handling experience (ranch, feedlot, hauling, etc.)
• Canadian passport (with no restrictions from entering
the United States)
• Able to speak, read and write English
• Able to lift heavy weights
• No felony conviction(s) in the past 5 years
• No DUI/DUII conviction(s) in the past 5 years, and no
more than 1 DUI/DUII conviction in a lifetime
• No reckless/careless/negligent driving convictions in the
past 5 years
• Pre-employment Drug and Alcohol test (arranged and
paid by Meston Livestock Transport)
